The following review written by one of the Software Informer contributors applies to version 1.1
Recovery Toolbox for Word is a powerful tool for recovering corrupted Microsoft Word documents and templates (.doc, .docx, .dot, dotx files) as well as documents in the Rich Text format (.rtf files) due to a virus, to a failure in the operating or file system or any software failure.
This incredible program allows users to avoid losing important data recovering it in a few minutes. What is more, the program features a very simple and intuitive user interface which does not require any technical knowledge to be operated and makes the recovery process a breeze. First, the program scans and analyzes the source file, extracting all the text information. All the recovered text is displayed for the user to check it and it can be exported to Microsoft Word or saved to a plain text file. A thing worth noting of this program is that it only reads the information from the source text but it doesn't modify it. In addition to this, the program also includes a tool which is really useful to recover only text, without any formatting or any images embedded into the source document.

  • Easy to use.
  • Simple and intuitive user interface.
  • Great value for its price.

This page is very confusing. The links you think your clicking on bring you elsewhere
